[:Mana Energy Potion:] | RL Race Across Azeroth

Holy crap. This is hilarious.

Step 5: Omg, I think my heart is going to explode
Eli and I stayed pretty even throughout the whole run. But about 3 minutes in, my heart rate reached over 205 BPM, and my max is around 195 BPM. I had to slow down to a walk because I thought I was going to pass out. Running in WoW is no joke. Fortunately, Eli's heart rate his 194 BPM and his max is around 185 BPM, so he had to slow down too.

I brave sunlight once or twice a week, but I drive the mile from my apartment to the office every day.

Hahahahahahaha. Get out of the chair and do something physical.....

That should be mandatory, so that all the fat asses playing that game get in shape.

Are these kids serious?!? 1/2 mi in 4:50? That's only a 9:40 mile? People can't even run a 9:40 mile anymore? I run a consistent 7:20 for 2 1/4 miles at lest 3 times a week! This is pathetic. This post has seriously made me disapointed to be a part of this generation.

My fastest mile ever was in high school, 7:30-something, and I was practically dead afterwards. :D Miles for me were typically in the high 8's or low 9's.

I was completely out of shape though. At one point after high school I was jogging with my dogs every night for several months... we were in a small house with almost no yard back then, and I felt that they needed more exercise (forget me, what about the doggies! :D). I'm sure I could have pulled a much better time during that period.

The fastest I ever saw anyone run a mile was 5:30ish. We used to have to do that Presidential Physical Fitness test and we got timed.

My personal best was 6:50, and I doubt I could walk a mile now without needing to stop for a smoke or two.

I could do 7:30, but I could run 8:15's all day long, non stop.

I ran a 16 minute 3-mile back in high school.

That was intense. Of course, it was also at 4000 feet.
