I've seen videos of that car before, but still, hella nice! I wonder why he doesn't give it a proper paint job though...

Not much. Its a hack job. Not to say it was easy by any means, but its all hacked up and fits like shit.

So essentially, the cost of a saw, a small welder, a few rolls of duct tape, and the motor...

that's what metal coat hangers and the duct tape are for.

If you can't duct it, fuck it!

its diffrent. but still. why take the time and have a hacked car when you could of taken just the same or less amount of time of installing a K series. Im not into it. the only time ive ever been thrilled to see a honda with a v8 putting around was a crx that had a massive big block in it, and still looked better than that crap.

Sort of.. Its more like, if you're going to take the time to do that, why not take the extra time and do it right? I mean, you have the car, you have the motor, you have scrap metal and a welder, and clearly some know how.. Why not just do it right, or at least less hackish?

Personally, I'd source an old corvette frame, chop it down to size, and slap the modified civic body on it. Bam, fully functional corvette with a civic body.

that's what it is, a corvette drivetrain with a civic body.

newbie...with a ls1....but not in your typical car - LS1TECH=

The guys that did this are onto a new project now... its called LS2000TT... Ill let you figure that one out.. heres the thread
Civette's new project......LS2000 - LS1TECH

they lack the knowledge of carrying a camera. I love the thought that their different though. Even though, a buddy of mine said he saw a LS2 on a air boat when he was driving down the high way. but what really pissed him off was the fact they had such a nice engine. on such a crappy air boat. oh, and the fact he knows alot of vehicle's that are just laying around that could really use that engine. instead of a... air boat.. whatever happened to the good ol' 350?
