ok i have a b15 with a cracked block which would be easier and cheaper fix it or swap it. also another thing is that i have a friend who wants to trade me for a 91 crx with a b18 swap done so should i trade or swap my motor:confused:
 
find a new swap... you will pay more to actually fixed a cracked block (including all the other work that will be needed) than getting a new swap and rebuilding that one.
if its a d15.
 
id swap for he crx car, but if not just get a new motor
 
in order to get him to trade me it has to be fixed so maybe i should just keep my civic and forget about it if it is cheaper to do a swap. also honestly what motor should i look at to drop in it
 
well you could put the stock motor back in it real cheap or upgrade to a d15b vtec for cheap

Assuming it is the D15, I would just do a stock swap to get it running. Then trade your buddy for his LS swapped vehicle.

indeed trade. i had a d15b7 in my civic. it was fun moved for what it was but still slow.
