so, i'm sitting here at home w/ nothing to do and i'm fucking bored... my 360 gave the red ring of death a couple of days ago (after 2yrs of playing on it).. so that'll be gone for a month.. what to do?? its hot outside, so thats out.. haha..

what do you guys do to cure your boredom?? i've seen everything on the internet.. maybe i'll just play with my camera
 
I watch Youtube videos. lately at work since everything is blocked, i have been on hondaswap the whole 9 hours im here. when i'm not doing anything i just keep looking at what people are doing haha.

Sucks your 360 Red ringed though. Had that happen to me and it was gone for 3 weeks.
 
That's why any electronic device I am going to get I purchase from Sam's Club. Their return policy, even though it states 90 days, is great. As long as you have your receipt, they will take it back. Doesn't matter a length of time. As long as it wasn't damaged due to neglect.

As far as you being bored...I wouldn't know where to start, either. I get cabin fever if I sit and do nothing, but I get bored of doing something to get rid of the boredom. It's a lose lose situation all the way around.

...Only so many times though. Best of luck on the repairs. My buddy's has died like 6 times, and they refuse to fix it now. Pretty lame.

If I get bored, I call up some friends. Or work on my current projects, or start a new one if I'm done. Brainstorm. Make a website. Write a program. Read a book. Watch TV. Go for a walk when it gets a little darker. Ride a bike around town. Take something apart, learn about it, then put it back together. Idk.. lol

Make something new for Hondaswap?

well, my buddy down in Del Mar, CA called me.. he's the one whos GSR got jacked a couple months ago.. well he's still without a car and looking to buy in the next couple weeks.. so he was checking the Nissan website and it said the Nissan stealership had 3 GTRs at MSRP (well thats what the website said) .. so he asked me to go check it out, if they were really MSRP he'd come up and buy one.. they had a $20k mark-up.. :thumbsdown: .. so that took about 20 minutes of my time..

what to do now?
 
Seems like all the dealers are getting 3 GT-Rs. They are marked up like crazy though. The dealer by me has sold 2 already.
 
yea.. he said all the other dealers only have 1 and he was surprised to see 3 here... its probably because nobody here can afford one, and if they can.. they dont want a $90k Nissan
 
Before they were even released, I was told all the dealers are getting 1. and you had to have at least 5 grand down to even think about touching one.
 
well, lets put it this way.. he could pay for it on the spot.. so if he came and waved a $75k check in their face they might reconsider the price.. :shrug2:
 
That's not too bad a mark up honestly. When the NSX came out here in 91 they had an MSRP of $75-80k. The Acura dealers were preselling all of them at around $100-125K. And yeah, Nissan probably doesn't allow them to mark them up on their web site. I know Honda and Toyota would never allow us.

well, the other dealerships he seen that had them had the price listed at $90-$100k.. and he seen the dealership here was listed at $73k.. :shrug2:
 
I sit and check out cars on autotrader. I'll also look at youtube videos. Check out Fluffeetalks. His channel's pretty damn funny. I also do hackey sack. (or footbag as it's called in europe) Also check out failblog.org

Otherwise, idk. Learn to play guitar? Not feasible at the moment as a means of quenching your boredom, but it'll be something to do on other days with nothing better to do.
