i remember reading that the accord was originally envisioned as a sporty car, but honda pulled the budget back and decided to make it an economy car. and now, they've come full circle, and the accord finally has some sportiness to it.
no euro R's sold in the US. also, even though the TSX is the accord in europe, it's not here...Well there has been the euro Rs, as well as the TSX (the real Accord, ours is the Inspire). Saw a guy with one out on the track yesterday. I'd say they have been kinda sporty for a while.
I also would never call any coupe a family car.

General consensus in the racing world is 13s= anything from 13.0 to 13.99. Can't compare that to the gas prices unless you say "gas is in the 4's" or something like that.
It's still stupid. a 10.999999999999 1/4 miles run allows you to call the car a 10-second-car. stupid.
I guess I don't understand it because I come from a non-straight-line racing background, where we measure in minutes and seconds, not MPH and seconds.
