on the way to work there was a loud poping noise everytime i turned and/or let off the gas then then steering wheel started to vibrate bad so i parked it went to work everything looked alright i jsut thought it was the cv axle. so on the way home turning on a major road with alot of traffic the freakin wheel came right off the car a stud was missing one was broke in half and the other 2 were stripped and the wheel was f'ed but i got the parts for it and such but i cant get the peice that holds the studs off does anyone know how to do that i would love to know so i can get it back on the road

 ..

sounds like someone doesnt like you ... or they tried to jack your rims but something scared them off after the first wheel

lol yea my dad asked if i cut someone off or road someones ass on the way to work or something lol but its a new car and ive found that some stuff wasnt on tight enough i think the guy that had it was a fing retard my powersteering pump every bolt on it was loose now i have to get a new one but besides that and the wheel everything else is good lol:D

oh and when that happened the nut holding the wheel hub (i believe thats what its called) got bent up and now i cant get it off what should i do about that because i have to replace those studs:confused:

to put the lug nuts back you have to take off the brake calipar, rotoe and turn the wheel any position you are sitting then there you should see the studs buy you two new lug nuts and two studs then go to the prelude get a hammer and pop out the studs that you dont like and grind a piece of the back a little bit and see if goes in if it does good if it does not grind a little more then pop it in with a large center punch hit it a couple times and get an air gun and put the new bolt on it and tighten it up till it pulls its self back then re assemble the brakes and put on your new wheel

yea i tried that but theres a plate right behind the studs but i guess is it ok to break that plate idk what purpose it does but if i did that it would work

Before you put the new studs in leave them in the freezer overnight. they will shrink and go in a lot easier.

i have to replace the hub so im not worried about doing that now ha but i think im going to the junk yard today to and get the nuckle with the hub on it, it will be alot easier because you have to take it to a place with a hydraluic press ha so i dont want to wait for that

car all fixed we got a rim for $60 from some guy but honda wanted $528 for jsut one???????? idk why its not even that nice of a rim in my opion

the same thing happened to me, the mofo who i bought my car from or the guy he bought it from didnt like torquing the nuts apparently, he was also fond of collecting them, cuz there was a few missing..
like the one on the power steering pully.. lol

The prices on factory rims from the dealer are always stupidly high. Like they are Volks or something. I can't think of any from Honda that aren't really close to $2,000 for a set at full retail.
