Why do you hate Hondas?

It's only stupid if it doesn't work

We always say why we love these cars, gas mileage, easy to work on, cheap to maintain/mod, etc., but what do you dislike most about your car or a Honda you have owned?

I have two.
1) Bitch horn. I get cut off and it's like, "Excuse me, excuse me, I think you cut me off, excuse me?" However this might be changing. I work for the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail and they definitely don't have bitch horns. Hopefully I can find a cool mechanic in the shop. That horn coming out of an Integra would make people shit themselves.
2) Small car. This is only a reason because I can't see past vans, SUVs, and trucks on the Parkway/Turnpike. Mother fuckers do 65 in the left lane and I can't see if it's actually traffic or if their just an asshat that I can pass. More often than not... Asshat.

I don't hate them but I don't like them that much anymore.

1. I like the older models better, I think the newer models are ugly. Especially the Element, really, what were they thinking?
2. I think that the quality is better, but not that much better compared to most other cars. ie: comparison reports say Hondas are generally better cars, but never give you a real estimate of just how much longer they will last.
3. When I lived in NC everyone had one.
4. After having three of them, I wanted something else myself.

The only thing I hate about Hondas is all the douche kids that give em a bad name.

theft.. bout the only thing i hate
and the fact that you cant buy something without 10 other people in town have the same damn thing

tons of maintenance. almost always timing belts. everything in the engine bay is crammed together and sometimes you have to pull a few things out just to get to one thing.
honda ricer kids, trendy status.
fwd. bad weight distribution.
usually 2wd.
bad paint jobs on older ones, am i wrong? this is my 3rd and the 5th in my family.
as slushbox said, the bitch horn, but i have a dinky crx w/ cracked plastic, rust, and paint fade (working on all that), so its appropriate. i prefer 2 short bursts -beep beep- to really bring it out.
and like eg6sir said, theft. i've had older cars that were odd ducks so i never worried about theft, but was paranoid about getting a 4th gen civic.
i swore i'd never come back after 8+ yrs but i needed to escape the rotaries and i couldn't beat the mpg and always wanted a crx.

the damn rust.
the ricer kids giving us bad rep.
theft.
and that all the old people have the perfect unmolested platforms:D

I hate how all of the wheel well clips and the bumper clips seem to rot after a couple of months and then they shatter when you try to remove them.

i hate that the clips are 3 bucks each

ahmmm. hmm. well, i hate the carpet - it is impossible to get pet hair out of. but that's in just about any car i guess...though i've had the worst time with the hondas on it. :D

and i hate the hood release after its about 18 years old. it's always a crapshoot if that fukker will open without me being in two places at once (inside yanking like a mofo on the wire and out in front popping a fist on the hood to bounce the bitch up). and then it's a crapshoot on whether or not it will decide to actually latch completely.

i adjust that thing about once every 6 months.

:shrug2:

personally me i just acquired a 93 i just got it running last week and the car is great its economical and everything but its just not me im used to having a 10 sec street car my mustang before it became my truck car it was nothing special an almost stock 351 twin turbo with a blow through carburetor and my hatch k20 built on 15lbs and its just not the same overall i was expecting alot more from it but overall the car is great runs smooth fairly economical, i guess i feel this way just becuase i have always been a domestic guy, im thinking i need a lil spray for it, but in all honesty i dont hate hondas or even dislike them the fact that with little displacement you get good hp and torque figures is amazing, and the last time i took my mustang to the quarter mile which was in bradenton fl i got my ass kicked by a nissan i run 9.3's on motor he ran close to a 9.0 and i couldnt race him on spray just becuase my progressive took a sh!t but still people have to give credit where credit is due one thing i figured out it doesent matter what your into there is always fast and slow in all there is fast mustangs and fast hondas and slow hondas and even slower mustangs the only thing that bothers me real bad are the lil ricy bastards that hate on everything those are the ones that piss me off oh and btw sorry for the long post

1.Ricers that give true Honda lovers a bad name
2.IACV
3.Ohio and what the weather does to them

Other than that I really cant say anything bad about them.

1. Theft
2. The attention from authorities, you are automatically a "holligan" if you drive a modified Honda.
3. Seeing 16 cars at a meet with the same parts, color, wheels and engine combos, and at least one better copy of your car.
4. FWD
5. Whats torque?
6. The Honda fanboys that would take a 600whp EG hatch with GSR blades and leather seats over a 911 Turbo.

#1. personally, I cant stand the fact that there is soooooooo much awesome stuff I could do to my car...

...if I had $$$

#2. being the honda lover in my V8 drag racing family, and being in the position of defending hondas reliability and fun factor, and mine are usually broken.
"that thing runnin' yet?"

#3. rust, rust, and more rust, road salt FTL.

#4.:fr:

I think that's about it.

and my hatch k20 built on 15lbs and its just not the same overall i was expecting alot more from it but overall the car is great runs smooth fairly economical,
are you running ITB's with this turbo setup by any chance?

The only thing I really hate is mine is getting older (93) and all the stupid little thing are starting to go on it that take too much time or money for me to worry about fixing.
