i know it says typeR up there but i just recently found that its not a type R or possible a real R with a bust C5 that was swapped for a gsr, dunno for sure yet but im gonna assume its a gsr from now on

EDIT: figured out that b18c1 is only a gsr.. boohoo... not a true type R...

1999 Integra GS-R:
B18C1- DC header, AEM cold intake, JDM valve cover w/ cam cutouts and carbon spark plug cover
The body is in sweet condition- includes carbon fiber hood, orig. R wheels gunmetal
The rest is pretty much stock other than JDM type-r Recaros black/ red stitch.
And the engine, I know for sure is well kept. From experience.

My buddy Ryan will give it to me for around 8500 to 9000.

Tell me what you think.

i was pretty darn sure it is a good price for such a beast of a car... but thanks for replyin on my first post here! it is greatly appreciated!

im not gettin the car for about 3 or 4 months when i can get my sign on bonus and all, but when i do, little skater kids watch out! :driver:

By today's standard, it's not really a "Beast"...just rare. An unmolested one is even more rare.

If it was me, I'd go for that and just keep it stock. Nowadays people turn street Honda's into "race" cars; the ride is pretty harsh and the motors are at the peak of their performance(higher chance of failure). A Type-R is a good balance between a car that could be daily driven and do very well at the (road course) track with no worries.

:ditto:
yeah i know... this is like, the first time i've even SEEN one that was for sale.. but for me it is a beast. my first car was a 96 200sx ser, it was okay but i have driven a bone stock R and it mushed my ball into the seat more than the turbo SR in the 'San...

I think that when i do get it... the only thing im planning on doing to it is exterior ups and some interior, like CF dash and what not.. or a sweet sounding muffla possibly and maybe a JDM front con. someday... theres no way im gonna go and take a virgin R and beat it... no F'in way man.. thats just a shame what people do to them, considering the rarity of them..

make sure you run the vin to prove its not a clone

The real question is how much are you willing to pay for it.

Get it, make sure you keep it in a garage. Don't park it in any shady places. Be PARANOID.

Thats what I like about where I live, I could park it outside with a huge sign that says "Hey look a real Type-R with the keys in it" and not have anything to worry about.

yes i know man.. arent tegs like the #1 or 2 most stolen ride?

why is that by the way? maybe the triangle window? i hear that is easy to open from the outside

and thanks man, i WILL be paranoid! AT ALL COSTS!

he means run it on carfax or something and see what car fax says it is. it will say "type-r" in the name of the vehicle

holy crap dude! is it that country that people dont know about the R?

i mean what will it say in VIN, or did you mean it will literally say type R in VIN?
you will have to get the vin number and run it the vin is just gnna be a bunch of numbers and letters. get the vin on it ill run it. well enough to tell you what it is eff paying 30 bucks lol
