beat thing to do is get a rope or a shoe string and just measure it
Then get a shorter one. If the part number for the GSr is 310k4 or something, get a 280k4... you get the idea.well it needs to be shorter than 30 inches cause thats the length of the one i got for a gsr. ive searched and all the alternator belts at parts stores listed for acura/honda are the same length..so im confused
you need a 290k4 belt

You don't get it for a specific car. Just order it by part number.what year/model would that be for? cause i have part no. 310k4

Where are you getting your belt because if they can't get you the part number you need they are dumb as fuck... you got a 310k4, say 'this is too long, can you get me a smaller belt?' Which would be 305k4, 300k4, 295k4, ect... as the number drops, so does the size of the belt.lol i cant just ask for a belt no. they wont know what im talking about

i understand that part....just im searching autozone and advance online and i dont see that part number listed at all. i dunno i guess ill find out if they have it today on my lunch break
yeah go in and ask. The websites are stupid. Sometimes they use the part number that the manifacturer calls it and not what autozone has it listed as lol.Theyre web sites blow. Much better to go in and ask in person. When you tell em what size you want, if they ask what car its for dont bother tellin em. Just repeat the size you want, and if they say they need to know what model car its for just turn around and walk out.
Just go into advance or autozone or wherever, and ask for a 290k4 belt. im using it currently with my ctr pulley, and yes this is me clarifying for you and everyone else
i did that today.... they were out of stock. figures just my luck lol im gonna try murrays auto tomorrow before work. how long have you been running this ctr pulley? cause i dont really know what to believe bout the whole "itll blow up your engine" deal
Read this. I myself went from believing it would blow up my engine, to being able to understand why this does not make sense. Just look at the cars and engines in question that had the catastrophic failures.
