Looks good! I like the clean look of the car. Now he needs to drop the thing. I've already decided that a miata is going to be my next fun car after I either wreck or sell my civic.

Yea, after driving it. I sooo want one, it's fucking fun to drive. First time driving it I got it to step the tail out on purpose. Super controlled. Yea he really needs a drop. He picked it up for $1400, he got a hell of a deal. It's a 93' btw.

Wow, those look really good on there, like said, would be even better with a drop.

Thats an amazing deal. POS ones go for 2500-3k around here. My goal is to do an ls2-t56 swap in one. Racing Concepts - Products makes a kit so you can drop one in with a ford 8.8 rear and retain the indepandant suspension, stock hubs, and 50/50 weight distribution. 11 sec quarters with a stock ls2... me likey

It has a rebuilt title cause the original owner got backed into. When my friend bought it, it didn't have the front left headlamp assembly, he picked up a used one the exact same color that he needed for $120. The rear window also had a tear in it so he had to buy a new one for $75. But still, not a bad deal, just took a little work to get it looking nice. The hood is off a little off center, but we'll get that fixed one of these days. It has only 110k miles on it. It's not perfect, but the price was right.

Yea, that'd be a fun project car.

Very nice and clean, next in line after a S2k. Is that a solid rear axle I saw? If so that kinda sucks, still a bitchin' car.

IIRC it's double wishbone front and rear. A company makes custom A-arms for Miata's that widen the track and allows even wider tires.

He should get a hardtop. IMO, the hardtops make it look 10x better. Here's one of my favorites(with 16x8 or 15x8 6ULs I believe)

Yea, they do, but hardtops are expensive and they're kinda hard to find used. New ones are like $1500 or so.

my buddy was tellin me a drove one .. all it had on it was Koni Yellows on the stock springs.. said it handled amazing. with a drop it'd be some serious shit.. haha

:super::tfg:

jk, someone had to do it. They would be good for a track car, but for daily driving especially if you have another guy in the car people will think you are a limp wrist.

mine would have a really low offset rim, rollcage and it definitely wouldnt look like a limp wrist drove it

They really do. My friend who sucks at driving was keeping up with me when we did some twisty road driving yesterday. And I wasn't driving like a pussy either I need a swap :(.

Haha yea, I'd never ride shotgun in one, unless...no, wait, I'd rather walk.
