Hi, i have a 93 honda civic del sol si, 1.5l vtech engine automactic. My check engine light is on and i know i need to jump some kind of wire and get a code from the blinking check engine light. I know i saw an article on here about how to do it but i cant find it. Can someone please link me to it or tell me in detail on what i have to do to get the code? I dont need the codes im sure i can find them somewhere, just how to do it

its on the pass side. right side kinda near ecu. its a small plug. loop the circut by using a paper clip. Insert one end in of each prong. then your codes will flash.

it kinda more under the glove box i do believe and its a blue plug. i just used a small piece of wire i had laying around to jump it

Did you do an engine swap? You should have a 1.6, not a 1.5...

I found the plug, it was in this rubberish green holder thing. I dident even know it was it until i read some article before. All i had to do was pull it out and read the codes after using a peice of cpeer to bridge the connection. Got code 21- vtch solenoid Valve. Whatever that means...

thats wat engages your vtec. its on back of the head on the left side. its got a little cap thing on it and bolts to the head. you cant miss it
