having my car sent in to do a tranny swap from 4 speed dx to 5 speed si. then im going to change over to an si cam, and 91 integra ecu, BUT do i have to do a mpfi to do that or jumper harness??

you will need to run dpfi-mpfi if your trying to use the integra ecu,,and no you dont have to run a jumper...but why not just do the swap yourself??
you know you need the si hubs, axles, clutch, flywheel, pressureplate

no thats finee its a 91 so in 91 the si was just 1.6 vtec... then im pretty sure in 92 and up si was 1.8 dohc

ooooh..yea dude my bad..it totally slipped my mind,,
so your just going to swap the vtec cam into your DX motor..does it give it more hp or just better gas mileage

dude everyone knows that mitsu 4g15 QOHCams are a bolt in for the D.

hp, or thats what iv herd and built single cams ARE fast, yeah dohc is better but single cams arnt getting as much credit anymore

damn so you can just swap a vtec cam directly into the nonvtec motor, and gain HP..im gonna have to try that someday(gotta find a cam first)

and theres a motor from a mitsubishi that will bolt right into the EF
they have 2 cams per intake, and 2 cams per exhaust

Yeah, just use the 92+ Si DOHC VTECH intake cam in your DX, it will be so fast. Thats what I did, that and a Prelude ECU, I cant even get traction till the end of fourth gear.

true story..he took me for a ride in that shit its wicked fast with his slicks on,but with regular street tires it doesnt catch traction
the h22 ecu has the best fuel maps out of all the hondas i think,so paired with the hybrid cam its just awesome

wait waht? a cam from a 92+ dohc cam?? i gotta single cam... d15b2 slow, with 5 speed tranny, a dohc cam will fit in my single cam? and i got obd0

im kinda new to this... echaust cam? i have ONE cam.. there two cams on dohcs, so taks one of them and swap it? im confused sorry haha

no dyno, ill explain it, but what were you talking about the exhaust cam? i take ibne cam frm the dohc and replace it with mine>?

You guys are fucking idiots. How are you going to tell him all this and forget that he needs a Prelude VTEC distributor too? The D-series one isn't powerful enough. Not to mention it wouldn't even work with a Prelude ECU if the distributor didn't match.
