My Del sole is a piece of shit. It looks cool and all, but under the hood its just nothing. Its got so many problems and is so loud i cant hear myself think. So should i just kill myself now? Or wait until i get enough money to Fix it.

1993 Honda Civic Del Sol 1.5L D16Z6 Vtec Engine. It does look cool on the outside though..

...why don't you fix it then? Get a new quiet exhaust for it. Quite simple to solve those problems really.

Post pictures of it. Does it have a fart cannon on it, if it does remove that shit?

Uploaded some pics of my shitty car. Think ima fix it, going to start posting some of my problems and see if anyone has any idea whats going on.

Go to an exhaust shop and ask for a stock muffler, it'll cost like $80 or so with install.

i have a high flow stock(ish) muffler... and del sols have decent power mine runs great and its a stock 95 si.

and if you just say D16Z6 im pretty sure 99% of the people on this website will know what your talking about. you dont have to say 1.6l vtec.

FYI, your engine is 1.6 liters, not 1.5, hence the "D16" engine code. If you had a D15, then it would be a 1.5 liter...

1993 Del Sol Engine sizes?

Hey I also have a suckie 1993 Del Sol I just bought. Got it cheap...and I wanted something good on gas. Anyway...It had a broken side window, broken windsheild & needed front end work...and last paint.

I'll post some pics later. But got the galss done...and had someone do the front end (tie rods, wheel bearings). But like your car...not much under the hood. Did your engine block/tag actually have anything more than "D16A" on it?

If that's all your block said on it then it's NOT the original motor. A US-spec motor should have 5 digits in the engine code. If yours only have four then it's probably a JDM engine...
