ok guys the gsr head is still in my car but im planning to swap blocks with a b20b i just bought today... but i wanna rebuild and beef up the b20 block before i decide to swap it... any suggestion on where to start???

I'm putting a gsr head on my b20b here shortly, having the bottom end built for turbo, low comp. pistons, eagle rods, obviously new rings, thinkin about a new oil pan too lol. would Crower cams be good for the gsr head if i'm going turbo?

At a minimum I would beef it up with arp rod bolts and head studs. Like brutal said, we need to know your goals.

If you're going N/A you're going to want higher comp pistons bro.
11.5:1 is what I've been told is safe on pump gas.... but our pump gas is shit any more so 11:1 is the highest i'd go for compression.
The arp rod bolts and stud bolts are a good idea. If you really want to beef up you block re-sleeve it. At least have the cylinder walls honed. Balance and polish the crank along the way too.

How far are you trying to go with this?
