Apparently my brother got a little toasted and decided to drive home at midnight.

He got yanked by Ft Wayne PD, blew a .14... got to lock up and blew a .13.

So now he's spending the night in the drunk tank sobering up. I'm gonna go post his bail at 5 (3 hours) and harass the living fuck out of him about this.

You'd think at 30 he'd know better. Fucking idiot could have called me.

Could be longer than 3 hours. I know Texas requires 8 hours minimum hold time on such things.

Show him a picture of some cute little three year old who was killed by a drunk driver, then kick him squarely in the nuts. Drunk driving laws are not for his safety, its for the safety of everyone else.

no it's 3 hours. his release time is 5:37 am.

My buddy is a confinement officer. Texted me at 12:15 saying my brother was in lockup for owi. lol

Called the bondsman (which is a client of my companys' btw...) and he said meet him downtown at the jail at 5.

I should go to a 24 hour pharmacy and buy some anal ease, hand it to him and ask him if his ass has been sexually assaulted yet, and if not I could circle the block a few times.

80 dollars and 2 hours later, he's back home and in remorse. bwhaha

The bondsman had me sign some paperwork and they took it back for him to sign. He said he saw my signature and went "oh... well... crap" hahaha

I guess he'd crossed the white line on a road near his house, hit the dirt and pulled back onto the road and that is what got him pulled over. Then he said they didn't say anything to him, just asked for his license and then cuffed him. Never patted him down or anything, I was wrong though they never breathalized him in teh field, only at lockup where he blew a .13.

that sucks for him man. i hope he learned a lesson and his wife gives him a load of shit for it...lol. just make sure he does everything that the bondsman tells him hes supposed to do, if not then its YOUR ass since you signed the bond.

he'll be in court when he's supposed to be, brian.

are you guys posting to each other in the same house again..

drunk driving is bad.

thats why its better to get someone underage to go with you... then they can play in the arcade. you tell them i wanna be home at XX:XX and voila.

I live six blocks from where the bar is, he could have called me and he knew that. but after 10 years of doing it, you just don't think you're going to have problems.

See, what really annoys me is that he'd only had 6 beers over a 5 hour period and blew a .13. When we went to the Collective Soul Concert he'd had 6 beers and said he was just fine to drive. I was so fucking drunk I couldn't walk. Now that I know this, I freaked about what could have happened all those years ago after the concert.

Anyway, he had his court today. He pled that he wanted more time to speak with a lawyer instead of the normal pleads. Ended up having his license suspended until at least the 20th.
