EK Swappa
So I'm just finishing up on my gsr swap on my 99 civ, and was debating on whether or not to keep it low key or put on the fancy sht on it. It's and hx so I have the becoming popular hx rims (thinkin about painting them blue) and was thinking about taking off the hx emblem and puttin the gs-r one on but idk thats kinda ricy. I also have a so called Si spoiler that I got off ebay but it looks smaller than normal, idk. Anyway any suggestions would be cool cool as far just keeping the "jdm" look or throwin on bodykits, rims, and whatever. Hit it up!

Don't waste any money on shitty bodykits. And DO NOT put a gsr emblem on a Hx, that's fucking retarded. Get yourself a decent suspension setup and put some decent brakes on it.

Oh and don't paint the Hx's blue, that's stupid.

O and with the rims, mine are kinda scuffed up so I gotta do something with them. Maybe just sand them down and buff them up a bit.

I have a set of Hx's on mine, they sanded and buffed up pretty nicely. What kind of driving do you plan on doing? Are you just looking for a drop, or do you want suspension that's going to have really good handling? Yes the 99'-00' Si had rear discs, you could always go with the rear disc swap off of an Integra too though.

Sleeper wins. Power, lack of douchebaggery, less theft, less weight, more money for more power, surprise factor at the track.

Mostly street driving and the occasional 1/4 run. For now this is just my dd

Clean and simple. Don't even bother with all that JDM shit anymore. Everyone's got it.

There's hardly any originality in Honda's anymore. Good luck finding your own bit.

Sleeper FTW!! My dads EF is a super sleeper, all "murdered" out mang. No one expects to be passed by a Civic but my dad takes everything on the road on his daily commute.

Also I don't mean to thread jack but I'm looking at thoes Tokico shocks/springs aswell, are they good for the money?

It's all good I was wondering the same thing?

Tokico is decent, but you can certainly do better.

Koni's FTW for that price range. Trust me, I've owned Tokico's and driven a car on Koni's.

Well I found these: eBay Motors: KONI SPORT SET SHOCKS HONDA CIVIC 96-00 (item 350103614889 end time Oct-09-08 15:12:47 PDT)

Not exactly in the same price range considering this set doesnt even come with springs. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Exactly. Don't get me wrong, Tokico's will do the job, and they aren't too bad. But you can certainly do better.

If you want a suspension setup for your EK, I have one I will sell. My Tokicos and Skunk2 springs. Sat really nice on my hatch, ride quality was very nice, but the handling was sub-par, which is why I upgraded. LMK

Well prob wont be upgrading the suspension anytime soon until I get the swap all straightened out. How much would you sell the set for?

Probably around 400. I can throw in a camber kit as well.

They were on my hatch for ~ 5,500 miles. I just recently took them off in favor of a set of K-Sports.

I can post pictures tomorrow.
