Now I was looking at some different headers, and noticed that there are two piece and one piece headers. Most of the two piece headers were cheaper than the one piece. Now which is better? I would assume the one piece (less parts, less chance of leaks). True right?

A two piece header can be as good as a one piece header, and easier to install if the engine is in the car, it depends on the design, and manufacter

The hytech repica headers on ebay are the best bang for your buck in terms of N/A performance.

2 piece headers tend to be 4-2-1, which is supposed to be good for an all around gain, while the one pieces are 4-1 which are supposed to be the best for top end.

what are those called the replicas of the hytech

If you get a two-piece, be sure to pay attention to the gasket. Install it. Heatcycle, tighten, heatcycle some more, tighten, heatcycle, tighten. Then check it in a week. It sucks to blow one out.

Or toss the gasket and machine the surfaces flat, and make a copper gasket.

yea.. the Hytech is the best bang for the buck header.. DCs cost that much and dont give you as good of gains
