Thats going to strip off the clear coat on the rim too. But so will sand paper. I'd take it to a car wash with a high pressure sprayer and try to blast off the spray paint. If the guy didn't prep the wheels before painting them it'll come right off.

Other than that, chemical stripper or soda blast them. Try to stay away from sand blasting, it'll chew up the aluminum.

Single mother in a can. Just be sure to clean all of it off when you're done. Then prep the wheels for paint this time.

that is the way to do it but if you want it painter or anything after that, I recommend sand blasted and then powder coated.

aircraft stripper and prep and paint. I did my g/f rims this way with base clear about 2 years ago and they still looks good and its her daily drives it in the snow and all

coming from a guy who has painted rims then decided it was a bad idea......

paint stripper + Pressure washer x 3 passes = allumium

buy the aircraft remover thats wat i did and then sanded them with 400 grit sand paper then went to a 600 grit and then bought duplicolor wheel paint and mine turned out great and make sure u primer them and dont use the aircraft remover on the plastic center caps it will eat the plastic ohh yeah and get duplicolor clear coat use all of there product and ur wheels will come out great
