Beer its whats for dinner
After doing an H22 swap on my 91 Accord lx, I noticed my cruise control no longer works. The button lights up, but the cruise control light on the cluster won't come on, and won't work. I haven't reseached this problem, but if anyone out there can point me in the right direction, or has any experience with this particular problem, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you hook up the cruise control properly?

Vac-driven cruise, or electronic?

Well, when I did the swap my I reinstall everything on my h22 the same way it was on the lx motor. vacuum lines are hooked up, all connectors are plugged in, and I believe its vacuum driven, my lx motor did not have the brackets that come on the throttle body like 92-93 models, that control the throttle for the cruise control.

So, did you swap over the entire throttle body, or what?

How'd you connect the throttle from the CC unit?

Tell you what, post a picture of your engine bay, and I'll tell you what you need to connect and where.

It has the H22 throttle body, I didn't use the accord t/b cause she'll choke for air at high rpm, I haven't seen any kind of cruise control connections that would go to the t/b.
I'll post photos as soon as I can. I'm at work right now and just looking to pick someones brain. I did the swap 2 yrs ago and before the swapped the engine I rarely used it, but I'm one of those guys that likes to have everything working even if I don't use it, and I really don't have any other work to do on the car. So this is something to do in my spare time.

I did a swap on a 93 accord ex with h22a, used h22a t/b and cruise control works just fine. Maybe you need to look under the dash board and make sure that the cruise control switch is working properly and also look for the small rubber stopper on the clutch pedal. I wondered for years why my cruise control stop working, but until the swap a never looked under the dash. replace the $2.00 rubber stopper from Honda and WOW cruise control.
