I just got a 98 CX EK for a grand.. its cherry red and mint condition and only has like 80 thousand miles on it... the d16 isn't cutting it and i wanna swap. i want the best bang for my buck.. i was considering the b16 since i shouldn't run across any complications... whats the easiest swap for the money that will get me the fastest car?

any help is appreciated :D

depends man. if you wanna run a turbo....or go all stock....ifs its a daily driver...or a track car....in my opinion easiest and prolly what your looking for is a B16A it deleviers 160 hp i believe...is good as a daily driver and there is alot of room for upgrade...if you want to turbo go B18.....but it all depends what ya wana do with the car....thats my opinion anyways

im sorry, i guess i didnt throw it down in all caps, blod and underlined like your forum rats like to doo...

>>>BEST BANG FOR MY BUCK<<<

if you want a number then 5 grand max and i wanna run at least mid to low 14's

its going to be an every day driver and i want the swap to be as non-ghetto as possible

find a si motor the same year and toss it in, if thats not enough power throw a cheap ass turbo kit on it===== = $1,200.00

Don't be an ass. There is no one best swap. If there was, then everybody would get it and they wouldn't make parts for different kinds of swaps. For your case, I'd say just turbo the stock motor. That will put you where you want to be power wise, you can probably do it for under five grand, and it won't require you to "ghetto rig" any type of engine swap...

I would do a k swap. I did a k20a2 swap in my 98 hatch and it cost me the same as a b swap. I got my k20a2 with trany, ecu, shifter box, shifter cables, every thing thats attached to the motor on ebay for $3200 with 20,000 miles. I see them on there all the time now. I also see on craigslist k20 and k24 as a motor for $800 and tranys for the same $. Its definetly the best bang for the buck becouse your getting a newer and more powerfull motor. Plus when you get a newer car say 01+ you cant put a b series in it only k. I originaly was going to do a b swap but went with the k becouse honda dosent make the b series any more and hasent put a b series in since 2000 (I think) and part are becoming harder to finder.

Go gsr, put your self a little fart can on it and a turbo whistler, some super fly stickers, and make sure you get racing harness's since you will be going super fast;)....sorry i dont like it when someone's first post is HEY tell me excatly what i should do because im to lazy to do it myself o and when i leave something out im going to get an attitude with one of the first people who try and help me, because im just here to be spoon fed.

2001 actually...they were still making the 3rd-gen Integra up to that point...

Look here, you ignorant moron. I get tired of answering questions like yours. You really should do some research and make the decision for yourself. There's no "best swap" for a Honda. Its all a matter of opinion, and what you like.

Do some research, and come back with a better question.
