hey guys im pretty new to honda tuning.. ive only ever worked on a 350z and other various nissans and that was only aesthetic.

i had a couple questions about engine/tranny swap and other various mods

so the civic im handling right now is a bonestock (minus head unit) and automatic

i want to do an engine/tranny swap but not sure what to stick in that compartment.
i was looking at the k20-k24 wondering where i could find a good one and how long it could take a rookie to hook it all up

on aesthetics, i plan on buying an r 34 body kit, 17 inch motegi and im not sure what kind of suspension.. i also wanted to hook it up with an hks hi flow system.

currently im in the dark about hondas. im not sure which route i should go..

I would skip the body kit. It's a Civic, not an R33. Why does it need to look like one?

And honestly, do you really need to keep this car? If not, then sell it and buy a manual one instead. That auto transmission is going to be very prohibitive from a performance standpoint...
 
well i found a k24 with a manny tranny.. thats what i intended to drop in for hte swap..

im keeping it because its a cheap project car.. jsut for kicks and giggles.. its still in decent shape besides a couple dings here and there from previous driver (parents)

but yea.. any other kit suggestions?
