Bye Bye Dakota, Hello Integra

Finally dumped my Dakota off and got a new DD that turned into a project/DD. It's a 91 Integra GS (duh). Scooped it for $1800 in stock trim. It has 190xxx on the dial and runs pretty strong. I had planned on leaving it alone for the sake of having something I could drive and not give 2 shits about scratching, denting, running over stuff, or ruining the interior from my dirty ass when I get off of work.

But my boy at work saw the car and said he had a set of wheels he would trade me for the stock GS wheels, because he he liked the look of the "old blades" and needed new tires for his civic but didn't have the money to buy new ones. Then my DD plan when right down hill. Within the past 3.5 weeks, I've managed to purchase and install;

Neuspeed springs (not installed yet)
Koni yellows ( not installed yet )
BLOX lca's ( not really by choice, but I like'em )
eBay intake
Nice KENWOOD deck/6.5's/300wMONO/10"sub
VIS carbon hood
17" drag wheels ( CE28 look-a-likes )
DC front leather seats

Thanks! I think I'm gonna craigslist those wheels and drop an inch or 2 in size to get some more tire under it. It needs a little smoother ride.

no.... but they can see exactly what you have in your car, randomly run into one day, and scope out that there's a b17 for the taking on that plate number.

plus, richmond isn't exactly a 'nice' city....

Im glad they cant find out what i have in my car from the plates, however if you are looking at my plates in a pic, then generally your on a site that features what i have in it anyway.

I thought about it when I pulled them from the camera, but I just didn't care. The tags are legit.....but they are not addressed to the house in the back ground.

Come to think of it, I believe back when you were selling the sol you posted pics without deleting your tags?!?!?!^_^ But that was a long time ago wasn't it?

Anyhow, thanks for all the positive feed back but, what next??? I don't know why, but I've had a hard time figuring what to do with it..... quit while I'm ahead and just drive the damn thing? rebuild/swap/turbo?

Thats a sexy Integra. I'm gonna swap then turbo my Accord. Outside is still ugly as hell though. Can't tell you where to go next, but I'd say under the hood. The car looks nice, but like i've been told many times before; better go than show, you know? I hated hearing it at first, but I'd rather actually be able to hit third in a hurry instead of going 1, 2, 5. If you build up your engine, and not constantly beat the shit out of it, it will increase longevity. Whatever it is, good luck my man!

I stopped at the Ford dealership on my way home from work to kill some time ( I got off early today ) and looked at a couple rangers, a gently used GT mustang, and a couple of Fusions. The sync package Fusions look good and it drove well, plus I heard they were manufactured off of the same platform as the mazda 6. If thats true I may sell this and use the money as a down payment. Who knows?

That's a bummer. Hate to see a honda slip out of a motivated builder's hands. Hope what ya get is nice though. Best bang for the buck with ford would probably be the Focus SVT. That little car kills. Plus it's one of the only cars i know that actually gets the full 35-40 mpgs if you drive like a good boy.

I checked out one of nicer packaged Foci' and like the way it looked, but that was all. It was priced the same as the ranger but had no incentives. I'm thinking of going with the truck. We'll see.....
