Hey I was just wondering if anyone is a fan of the newer si's (honda civic). My friend bought one a few months ago and actually I found it's a pretty fun car. Really short first gear though^_^.

great cars the only thing i dont like is no matter how hard you try you cant see the hood while in the car

Lol true the dash reminds me of something from startreck (whatever it's called) or something. Its really big but at least the gauges are pretty clean.

I generally don't really see my hood either.

the 05+ Si

02-05... honda fucked them up.

Yah my friend has a 2008 four door si. Personally I think it looks a bit better because it doesn't have such a huge slope from the top to the bottom of the car

over-priced, and over-rated IMO.

honda hasn't made something i'm remotely interested in since 2000.

Yah a bit overpriced but it is pretty fast stock and the new i-vtech is pretty nice. It's not very hard to squawk the tires in third ^_^

I don't mind the way the 02-05 looked really, they just gave it the turd version of the K20. Same horsepower as the B16, plus heavier chassis equals slower then the 99-00 Si coupes...

They are really fun cars, and are fairly quick too. I drive a friends around a little now and then- it's got intake/header/exhaust and sounds really nice, except that it's a little loud for me. Pretty solid cars- they don't feel like they'd ever fall apart, and even the stock (maybe an option?) sub and sound system sound really clean.

I drove an 07 2 door SI and 08 4 door SI before I bought the 06 Jetta GLI. I didn't really care for them, but i was hoping i was gonna like it. I like the low end power. Don't want to have to floor my car to find the power. Liked the Accords much better

well, that CRX would hang w/ b16 EFs too.. it only had 80k miles .. i bought it from the 1st owners, elderly couple ..woot!

I'd rock one. They have gained a lot of weight over the years, but are still one of the best handling fwd cars money can buy. The k20z engine is amazing and responds to bolt ons and boost very well. It doesn't take much to make one a monster.
