if you don't know my story here is an over view i got a b16 that i am put in a 97 civic and i want to convert it to an obd 2 so i can just drop it in and not worry about all the wiring but since there was no b16 for 97 i got all the ex stuff and i wanted to know if the ex distributor will fit on the b16 engind

Not true, you can modify them to fit, but it tends to make itself a temporary fix.

Use the right part so important to the performance of your engine.

it can be hacked together and made to "work"
but it is far from recomended
 
now just wondering i understand what you are telling me but i was thinking about getting an MSD ignition for my b16 but what i wanted to know is can i use the d16 distrib and change all the interals using the MSD set up let me know!!
 
im running an sohc si dizzy on my ls....only one bolt lines up....but it works...... :p...as far as i know it will work but only one bolt will line up....

Serioulsy, don't resurrect four year old threads to ask if someone has a part. A lot of the posters from back then aren't even here, and the others aren't going to read it. Some that read it are going to think they are in for some new information, and then be all pisssed off because it's just some guy asking for parts, and then they'll PM me wanting to have you decapitated and then I'll have to turn off my internet porn and waste time writing some long asinine message about how you shouldn't resurrect old threads or people will want to cut your head off.
