ill try it..i was surprised a breaker by itself usualy does it but i guess not this one lol...thanks though

Second on the impact.

Also, did you unbend the stake?

yea i used a pipe with the breaker bar and bent the breaker bar and broke it! ive never done that or delt with one that crazy tight..but im gettin a impact gun tomorrow so fingers crossed thanks..and yes i took ou tthe punhed in piece

This happened to me, impact gun didnt do it. I even went to my mechanic and we used the most powerful impact gun he has. still didnt work. you need to get the nut RED hot, the whole nut needs to be red then use a impact gun. After I did that it popped right off.

thats what im gonna have to do cuz i tried my friends impact gun he works at chevy..8 or 900 foot pounds didnt move it! dam basterds on there if i got to im goin to have some one cut the nut with torches its frustrateing already..thanks for the replys to guys i appreciate your input and ideas

try taking and air chisel to it i had the same problem also and i took the air chisel to it and finally got it off just be careful with your hubs if you if you use the air chisel

Ive never had problems getting them off, Ive taken few off with having someone on the brakes and a big wrench. :dunno:

I've had hell with one or two, and I've broken a breaker bar..

One fool proof method that is dangerous as hell (do at your own risk, good chance of catching shrapnel) is to get a strong ass breaker bar, get a 4 foot cheater bar, have one person pretty much hang on the cheater bar with all their weight, then whack the crap out of the breaker bar with a 3-5 pound sledge (6 inches to a foot from the nut). Over and over. Its like an impact wrench on crack. That will break the nuts loose 99% of the time. But like I said, do it at your own risk.

Also, if you go to a tire shop that works on big rigs, they can remove any nut on planet earth. Those people have gnarly breaker bars with 15 foot cheaters.

i had the same problem the driveshaft would just not move at all (we impacted it,used a breaker bar, used a torch )and nothing worked so what we did was we removed the upper and lower ball joint and removed the outer tie rod end from the spindle and we took off the whole thing wheel spindle and drive shaft included and we just traded it at a junk yard for another spindle .worked for us

Once again, did you unbend the circular ring thing? It's called the stake I guess? It's the ring around the nut with a little "v" chaped bend in it towards the nut, you need to bend that out.

yes i did..i said i did thats why idfk whats goin on so im jus gnna take the whole spindle to the machine shop and let them get them off what ever wat possible idc how

I tried chiseling my but off once. piece flew off hit me in face. the next day I put a magnet to my face and my face was magnetized. needed to go to the emergency room to get it out.

Make sure your Impact gun has some nuts to it too. My impact turns 450 ft lbs of torque, and i dont have a problem in the world, but not only does the ft lbs matter but your air volume and pressure. My air compressor pushes 250 psi's, so that helps it alot more. Good luck

pushes 250 psi's...? alrighty then.. lol. its not just the max psi your tank can store but for how long it can maintain that high number when using various tools. bigger tank with more volume, and the larger compressor the better.

well ive been lazy and i still havnt got em off..i tried pb blaster to btw and it didnt help :bangdesk:...im just going to have someone cut the nut off with cutting torches..ill let you guys know if i get them off
