just found this. best of luck on your purchase.

86th Street Photo & Video - 86photovideo.com - Reviews, Ratings and Prices at ResellerRatings

When I called they gave me some BS about my billing address versus my shipping address, which are exactly the same. Then they went into their bait and switch routine. They tried to sell me an AC charger adapter, an additional memory card, and an extended warranty. I politely said no to all of the above, and Chris said the unit would be shipped. Shortly after that I got an email stating "We regret to inform you that by the time your order reached the shipping process, our inventory on the product(s) you ordered was negative, therefore your order will be placed on a temporary backorder until we receive the product(s) back again in stock which will be in about 3-4 weeks." I noticed that the item is still offered online at their store and supposedly in stock.

This place is the worse kind of online experience you can imagine. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM!

that is interesting....then with no doubt to good to be true...i'll jsut cancel theroder and look else ware==o well good looking out
i wouldnt' cancel it unless they start to pull some bs. my eyes got big when i saw it. i'm hoping i can buy from them too.

I will never EVER buy any camera gear from a website that has prices that are not within current prices.

My Xsi was like 399 from some random internet site, I skipped that and paid 850 or so.
at least my camera cam with batteries, a lens and a manual!

i wouldn't go outside a 20% variance.

ie. $1000 camera can be $800-$1200. if it's $500, something is wrong with it or its not legit.

Yeah, no.

Pay full retail for it. ESPECIALLY for camera/camcorder equipment. Unless you aren't worried about a grey-market warranty.

Nope no way, i cancelled it after you posted that site, 384 complaints of all the same thing.

I ended up buying a Panasonic Lumix TZ5 9.1 MP camera. The Video is really good on it + you can zoom the video. Takes really nice pictures as well. Paid about $380 after tax, 8gig card and camera case.

Not taking my chances with that company.
