hmm throttle position sensor? throwing any CEL?

not throwin any cel but it seems fuel related but my buddy was sayin its the timing would this cause it to do this?? srry im new to honda oh yea and tps is good cuz i took it off my buddys car to check that first and it did the same thing

hmmm im thinkin more fuel than timing. if timing was off i dont think itd take so long to start....hows fuel pressure? vaccum line to regulator ok? check your fuel system

what does the plugs under the intake mani do?? there one plug that has 2 in the plastic then the other is just by itself the on by it self wasnt pluged in but now i can get it to even turn over due to a dead battery srry that post prolly didnt help much the plugs im talkin about are on the block but are underneath the intake mani they are 3 little stud like objects that the on plug into 2 of them and then the other is just by itself

map sensor???

Oil pressure sensor I think is under the intake manifold.

I think it could be timing too because I had a 90 and it was so far out you would really have to pump the gas and crank it over to get it going.

there are 2 sensors on the back of a d series block.. the 1 wired plug is the oil pressure sensor..the 2 wire is the cooling fan switch

ok well ill check in on the timin tomarrow but just so im know the up mark on the cam gear points up right and then u align the other 2 marks to the surface of the head i dont have a timin belt cover and there are not marks on my crank shaft pully so i would do this put bottom end of engine at tdc then put the head at tdc and put my belt on right

what? why the hell arent there any marks on the crank pulley? should be some notches or somethin... without that its pointless

i actully didnt see any marks but then i look closer and cleaned it like 10 times lol and ans saw the marks anyways it was the timing i got it timed right then i also threw on a new dizzy cuz my friend bought one and it wasnt his problem and he never returned it so iput it on and now it runs great sooo i dont know if it was the dizzy or timing?? or both but now it runnin good soo thanks for the help

dose it blow white smoke out of the exaust? u see white smoke, antifreze is getting inside the motor. if the head gasket is bad, it wont run good and takes forever to get it started

To find the marks on the pully I started the car and carefuly put sand paper up to it to clear away the garbage to find the notches.

ok well just to clear everything up no water is in my oil and its runnin good dont know if it was the timing or the dizzy but i re timed it and put on a new dizzy at the same time so its fine now lol :D again thanks for all the help
