Ok guys i'm going to scratch everything that i think I Know and start from Zero so please bear with me with my Noobish questions.
Like the title says i'd like to swap the B16A engine from a wrecked 1990 crx SI into my DX and i'd like to know what the easiest route (also the cheapest) to do this , the si is far gone so this isn't a choice anymore.
1.-The SI has a P71 ecu in it, is this OBD 0 or 1?

2.- The SI has a jumper harness for the ecu, can it be used in my dx ? If not , Can it be modified so that it can be used?

3.- Why am i missing this connector on my dx.

I imagine you are missing that harness connection because your car is dpfi and the Si is mpfi. i assume they are related but i may be wrong.

You can use the jumper harness. so long as the wires spliced into it are correct and going to the appropriate sensors. i don't think i'd recommend however using that ecu. its quite uncommon to find one of those actually. they came from the jdm SOHC d16a teg's. sooo unless its been like chipped somehow.. it certainly isn't designed to run the b16a...

You can either keep your stock dx harness and modify it for mpfi. search for "dpfi to mpfi". or since you have the whole donor car you could use the Si engine harness on your dx, but you would have to use the Si cabin harness as well.

umm.. didnt it come from a 1994 Accord VTEC F22B1?

trying to use the Si harness is more ttrouble than it is worth, keep it simple and convert your DX haness to MPFI.

yeah that's what i'm doing, i'll leave the engine harness on(si)and ride my dx harness after conversion to mpfi next to the si so that i'll know what's what, ty for the replies.
