Which gauge cluster for 89 DX?

I want to get a gauge cluster with a tach for my 89 dx 5 spd standard. Which clusters can I get that will make this the easiest possible...by easy I mean pull one out and plug one in with no modificiations?

there are a few 88-89 clusters which are direct swap replacements which will give you a tach. you could even use a 90-91 si cluster, you just have to switch some wires around.

88-89 SI, LX, HF. I have had a HF cluster in my car for a day then I swaped in a LX cluster, so I know they are a direct swap. This was in a 88 DX. The SI and LX clusters look the same but the HF has a lower redline and a shift light.

i was unaware moving wires around was all that big of a "mod" ....

not to mention you were wrong chief. i clearly gave him options with 88-89 clusters that don't require any mods ; )

That makes changing spark plugs and wires an EXTREME MOD!
