are all the b series dohc vtec throttle body gaskets the same? it seems that they are, but im not sure. thanks!

depends what size the TB is.. ex.. type r would have a larger opening than a gsr or b16 gasket i'd assume.. :shrug2: maybe not though

ok sorry for the dumb post...i hadnt done enough research *doh!*

it turns out that some share the same gasket, but the type r is most definitely different due to the larger bore. i had to order one from napa for my type r throttle body, so it looks like the car will be out of commission till friday.

Why not make your own? I did that and had pretty good results... Could be a temporary fix until you got the gasket in--that way you don't have to be without the car.

yeah i thought about it... what do you use? ive heard of using cereal boxes, and then of course there are all those gasket maker sealing compounds which might not be good for this... im just wondering

im really not that worried about it, the integra is a second car. i just put in a type r manifold to go along with my type r throttle body and forgot to buy the gasket beforehand. ive got it all back together except the tb that is hanging there...

I went to Napa or some place like that and got some gasket kit off the shelf. Came with this "paper" that looked like really thick construction paper. I took my TB and pressed it against the gasket stuff and it made the impressions. I took a razor knife and cut it out and just used that...
