i was a big gnr fan 12 years ago. lol grew up on this shit.

no, i haven't aquired it.

i figure, an album that's been in production since 1992 has to be pretty good right? lol

i listened to a few tracks of it on their MySpace page. it sucked ass. not worth the hd drive space on your pc.....

I "have" the whole album...and it's not nearly as good as I thought it was going to be. And I'm not a GNR fan. Most songs are WAY overproduced, with too many voice tracks, sound FX, and far too much "stuff" in the songs. Not enough traditional "rock" for my tastes. Chinese Democracy, Better and Madagascar are probably the best ones on the album, but some of the mega ballads like "Riad N The Beduins" and "Shacklers Revenge" are just too intense for their own good. Theres a few good songs under there, but they keep being pushed below the 20 years of production.

"Borrow" it, but certainly don't run out and pay money for it. IMHO, the best old-new album this year is still Death Magnetic.

shit... chinese democracy came out... the end of the world is definitely near:(

I heard some songs, didn't really like it but it was "decent" I guess. I haven't bought these albums yet but I like the songs from Metallica's and AC/DC's new albums.

Metallica's new stuff actually reminded me of their old stuff, but at the same time reflecting the fact that it's 2008 and this is a new album. In my opinion it's what St. Anger should have been. The new AC/DC and GnR stuff though, just didn't do much for me... :shrug2:

What I've heard on the radio was good. Definitely wouldn't turn it off. Did hear it is already banned in China.

I second that.
