Rotary Man
Okay so I want to park my car for the winter. I was just wondering what I all have to do to it, before it goes in storage.

get some gas treatment
helps to fill the gas tank to keep condensation from forming over and over again

also helps if you start it once a month
i never do, but its a good idea

I'll make sure antifreeze is good too, but thats what I thought...just didn't know if there was anything else that might help it....and no I DO NOT want to burn my baby to the ground lol...She's pretty much mint, I want to keep her for a long time.

i pull it into the garage.

that's about it.

i run it every now and then when its nice out, i'll take out for a spin.

yeah you don't wanna let it sit for months on the rubber. if you're truly putting in storage, put it up on blocks or jacks, keeps from wrecking yer tires. won't have to do this though if you run it around once a monthish, which is good for the seals and whatnot anyway. ;)

plz drive me before i go bad. :(

put it in a parking lot with the keys in it and a sign saying please return by __\__\__ (the date you would like it back)

i know when my close friend was deployed on a year tour in iraq and he put his 350 up on on jackstands in his storage unit and used gas treatment and lowered all fluid levels before takin off and he had someone go and take it down every so often whe it was nice out and take her for a spin around the block and did usual maitnence.

how long until you start it up again? bet that rotary will blow smoke when first turned on.

Or since its a honda you can pull the drain plug outta the tank and drain it. You didnt say what model it is so I dont know. Not all of them have drain plugs. you could also run it outta gas..
