I remember throwing out my collection of Nintendo Power and Game Informer, I had both from day one, my god I threw outs boxes of them.

My grandfather also had stored at his place book after book of popular mechanics, I'm talking from like... maybe the 30s? up to the 2000s.

I tried ebay, nothing, tried giving them away, nope, so I just ended up tossing them.

I worked for a guy who would pick up two copies of all the Playboy mags when they came out. He kept one in the plastic in a storage bin and looked at the other one for himself. Said a complete collection in the packaging was worth a bunch more money over time. He had every issue in plastic. His father started the collection, and he continued with it when his father passed.

As for your DNA residue, somebody, somewhere will figure out a way to get pregnant off it.

PB mags with be worth alot more in the next 5 years........

whe Hephner dies. He cant possibly last much longer.

Last year I tossed 6 years worth of Maxim and Playboy, 3 years of import tuner, and about 4 years of popular mechanics and popular science, and 1 year of random other mags (paintball, shooters, money, business, building, etc) here and there.. That was a huge fucking pile of magazines. I cleared out two 4'x2'x2' shelves in my shop. I'm just guessing that all of them weighed more than 300 pounds.

I kept the 50th anniversary playboy, though.

I remember that. I didn't realize how many you had till then.

I think I have like 3 whole magazines anymore.

I would actually pay for a digital subscription. I get most of my technology magazines that way, it's so nice not to get them physically, because I feel bad when I read one interesting article, then recycle it.

I like having mags in my hand since I can take them into the shiter, however since getting my blackberry, it has gone with me for the most part.
