My B18c is overheating constantly now. I just changed out the thermostat last night, and the fan does eventually come on when the temp is at the very top. So I don't think the fan switch is bad. The rad cap is perfectly fine, there are no leaks in the hoses or the rad itself, and the coolant is filled up. So what could the problem be?? Any suggestions?? Thanks for the help.

yeah sounds like the temp sensor,i would try that first

Crack and Egg open if it cooks on the Head cover ya got a problem, if it take awhile to cook everything is good... But we all kno how reliable a Honda Temp Sensor is lmao... Another thing to check is how good is the oil in the motor? bad oil can cause alot of frichion hehe!

you might have air in your system,

a good way to get the bubbles out is use a funnel and add your antifreeze with the small hose from the head to the heater core.

when your temp guage is reading high try turning on your heater on high and out side, full heat, the guage should go down.

clogged system try draining your rad. and get a sys. flush

Also you can try putting your hand on the engine. If it really really really hurts it might be bad, if it really really hurts then everything is good :)

But in his way, you kill 2 birds with one stone. Diagnosis and oily breakfast!;)
