2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Review, Prices, Photos: New Car Test Drive

here is the price in korea....
Korean prices are based on a different set of trim levels. The 2.0T base is 25,360,000 WON (about U.S. $23,000). The "Stylish Pack" (likely the 2.0T Track model in the North American market) has 19-inch rims, a limited slip diff and optional Brembo's for 26,920,000 WON (U.S. $24,500). A 3.8 V6 "Stylish Pack" trim goes for 33,150,000 WON (U.S. $30,100).

sedan BASE prices:

3.8
$32,250

4.6
$37,250

the coupe will probably be on par.

hopefully not. it wont sell if it is. i don't know many that would take the genesis coupe over an s2k.

... which is what this model is coming out as....

it's overpriced, automatic, and has the 'rep' of hundai on it of being a cheap POS.

it will be an epic failure.

i'll buy a 135i for 45k, and get a manual, 50k of FREE service, and not lose much resale, not to mention tell bitches i drive a bmw instead of hundai.

sorry, you lose Hundai.

the s2k is no longer being made.
yes, i understand that. just using it as a reference point. cost and rwd, very similar.

it's not automatic. and i was just saying it's a pretty cool car and the website rocks.

I read that it's supposed to compete with the Mustang; so the price would be around there.

Although, rumors are it's around $26000.

Well, we don't even have all the facts right now. Don't be so quick to judge.

As for as Hyundai's reputation, I don't think that's an issue right now. I've seen more of them on the road lately and haven't heard much people complain.

Also, the price is irrelevant to the sedan I believe. The ~$26000 model is supposed to have a turbo I4. The "Premium" package has the V6. For the sedan, they have either the V6 or V8. Also, the 6-spd manual is supposed to be standard, and the automatics are options.

i dont know....

Brembo's : Check
Limited slip: Check
6spd Man: Check
Rwd: Check
V6 w/over 300hp: Check
or detuned EvoX turbo 4 motor?:check

if i could get the turbo track model under 25k, i'd say i would definitely look into it

edit: if i could get a 135i for anywhere near the price of one of these there would be absolutely no question, but for the price of a used evo/sti with a 100k warranty? not to shabby
