Vintage huh? How about some crushed velvet in a diamond tuck?

car will be white interior will be black

It looks pretty good IMO. Beyond that custom embriodery (SP?) is about all I can think of.

the first time i sat in an 06 SI i fell in love with the seat. i would base your seats of the new SI. minus the red. black suede. so sick

im pretty sure hes trying to keep with the classic looking theme

on that note...

i would go with something like on the new Mini Cooper Clubman
it has the classic look with the modern feel and good support

that one looks good... something like that is what i was suggesting with the clubman style seats

go black for the outside in leather then do a black microfiber in the center
do vertical stitching instead of horizontal
then if you want more of a classic look throw some white piping around the seams between the outer and inner material... or maybe along the ridges
when you get the seats done have them put some more side and hip bolstering in to give it a nice modern sport seat feel with the classic look

yeah those 2 things was my main debate. black fiber on the inside or leather on both or vertical or horizontal seams lol. thanks for the pic e

the leather is good for the high points because if its good leather and you take care of it, it will wear well.... the fiber on the other hand will hold you better so you're not sliding around when hitting the corners (of course good side bolstering also helps with this)

i moved it to its own thread in the FI forum
please continue the topic there, and in the future please do not thread jack... especially when it has nothing to do with the topic at hand
