Hi guys,

I have a D16A6 piston that I bought it for a good price.

Can I use this on my D16A9?

Please let me know.

Thanks

you could use D16A6 pistons in a D16A9, however, the are not the same - the PM6 piston from the D16A6 is a dished piston and the PM7/P29 piston from the D16A9 is a domed piston - putting the D16A6 pistons in a D16A9 will lower the compression ratio to 8.25:1

If this D16A6 piston lowers compression to 8.25:1 when use in the D16A9, Can i use them for a D16A9 turbo?, i will like to use Vitara pistons but they lower compression to 6.55:1 and that´s too low. Im trying to reach 230 - 250 whp, i will use Eagle forged Rods, but im trying no to use forged pistons because of the price..

Sorry for my English im from SOuth America

Thanks for your help
