I just bought a 88 crx si and swap'd a jdm d15b into it.i'm still running d16a6 ecu, tranny, ect.so no vtec.im buying a crower stage 2 cam to go along with my i/h/e set up.also installing my h22 tb and portmatching the im,also gonna use blue top DSM 450cc inj.the question is will the vafcII be sufficient enough to supply fuel upgrades and vtec control to get the most out of my set-up.I know hondata is the shit for tuning but its just a d-series and im not trying to spend alot, but there is s100.would i be able to tune it myself with my labtop?I'm a noob at the whole tuning process so please, don't hate too much.

fixed for readability ...

first off, Vafc's are junk... you should never tune with one.. chip and tune a p28 instead.. another thing is, those DSM 450's are overkill unless you're boosted.. stock injectors will work fine

well if i run a p28 i need a jumper harness and then buy the ecu.and then a chip and tune,i plan on running boost just not at the moment.but i need my vtec for right now.i know i can hook vtec up 2 a switch but then i will run lean as hell.so will the vafc be good for now or just get s100 w/ boost?its about the same price, but if i get s100 can i tune it myself?
