Nothing besides other Prelude engines from that generation are going to be an easy swap. You can do an H22 with swap mounts, but it will be expensive still...

right the way the car sits and how low the hoodline is there's nothing easy to fit in there.

please help ive heard b20a is good for boostin. is this true? any advice can help
those two posts contradict each other.
and the b20 is actually the better engine out of the two offered stock in 3rd gens based on majorities opinion.

mounts for the h22 are readily available for 3rd gens.
only 475 plus shipping.

That's not exactly cheap for someone on a budget.

Any motor can be boosted. What are your power goals?

Your point? Just because you can buy a mount kit for X amount of money doesn't mean it's a drop-in swap or that it won't be expensive, which is EXACTLY what I said in the first place, was it not?

i thought you were implying that custom mounts are needed.

Nah, just saying that an H22 is an expensive and not quite bolt-in swap for a 3g Prelude. If he's looking for something that is going to drop in and bolt up, then he needs to stick with the B20A/B21...
