i have a 98 civic dx ek and i want to swap in an h22a.
i'm thinking of buying and h22a 92-95 complete change over through hmotorsonline.com.

here is what i get with the kit...........what else would i need so this swap can go smooth?....other than aftermarket motor mounts and OBD2 - OBD1 harness
- Motor
- LSD Tranny
- ECU (P13)
- Axles with Half Shaft
- Shifter Cables
- Shifter Assembly
- Stock Motor Mounts *
- Alternator
- Starter
- Clutch
- Flywheel
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Fuel Rail
- Injectors
- Distributor
- Engine Harness
- Comes With All Sensors Needed

dont waste your money on the complete change over. your not gonna be able to use over half the stuff

you can use the half shaft. you will just have to find the axles that are for your car. a friend of mine has a h22 in a eg coupe and i found him some axles for 109.00 bucks on ebay. the splines on the hubs are different. so just search for the h22 in ek axles.

let me make it simple before you get told wrong info. get the motor tranny and ecu, buy motor mounts, then get shifter and shift linkage from a accord 90+ or a prelude 92+. you have 2 ways of doing the axles the easiest to me is buy a half shaft from a 90-93 accord and then run 90-93 integra axles. the other way is to use the half shaft it comes with and use 94+ integra axles. your also gonna need a slim line fan. a del sol upper radiator hose and a integra ls lower radiator hose.and no need to change your hubs all that will be fine.also get a 90-93 accord fuel rail

not the wrong info at all. why spend alot of money on nothing. no reason to buy all that. you can get the axles for cheap. why chang out the stronger half shaft for a another one. you can order h22 axles with the ek end spline for the hub. all you got to do is open box and install.

Will i be able to use any of my existing parts.....i.e. power steering, fuel pump, water pump.? and what about a vtech solenoid?

you might have enough clearance for power steering but i think you have to get the adapter bracket. not for sure tho. the vtec solenoid will be fine. water pump is on the motor so it will be fine. fuel pump will be good also. if you plan to build the motor later on you will have to upgrade your fuel management. most honda stuff is good up to 400 hp

Hey, I have a 98 civic with H22a. You can keep your power steering with the appropriate bracket. You can even go turbo and keep your power steering. But you will need to loose your AC. Also be sure to get a good aluminum radiator. Also the slim-line fan os not absolutely necessary for all applications. If you are not going turbo and you use a half length radiator, you do not have to use a slim fan. If you do turbo, you will need to use a half length, but thick, radiator with a slim-fan. Hope this helps...

i have h22a eg shell set up.... i going to put my b16a motor in there but how i could fix it back to B and D series mount supporter? does it worth it....

i have a 97 ek, and i ordered my h22 from H moters, i recommend ordering the complete change over jus so you dont hav to look around for all the little parts you will need,(shift linkage, resistor box .ect) the only thing you dont use are the stock h22 axles and some of the mounts (rear mount can be used)

order the ek h22 mounts off ebay or hasport, and the conversion axles , you will need both
