I want to clean up my D16A6 intake manifold while its out of the car.

Can I clean the injectors? Like blow compressed air in the reverse flow or something?

And yesterday I noticed this hose is collapsed. I took it off and tried to blow through it. I figured out it has a check-valve somewhere in the system because I can only suck, not blow. Please do not make a joke.

What should I really do to clean it up?

Is there a special stiff vacume hose I should use for the intake manifold? Is that that PCV valve hose?

Is there a way to clean the injectors?

Are there any more sensors I should clean?

It stumbles at idle when cold.

no, you cant clean the injectors by blowing compressed air through them.
the opening in the injector is only as big as a few of the hairs on your head.
there is a few places you can send them in and have them cleaned professionally for like 10 bucks an injector.
its a good price when the alternative is destroying the injector.
and you might as well take a wire brush to all the connectors to clean them up.

I thought the injectors had tiny filters in them.

Reading through "Andrews build" if you know the one, he did a injector test and one restricted some flow. He said he blew compressed air through it.

I have no proof there is anything wrong with mine i'm just wondering if I should do anything.

How about putting injector cleaner in the gas tank?

ive tried it, im not sure if i noticed any difference.
ive heard its just bull shit.

but the company that i was talking about is suppose to increase the flow past 100% or something like that.

RC has a cleaning service as well as flow testing and balancing for like $20 an injector. If thats too pricey for you just get some injector cleaner that you can spray through the TB. And yes that hose is for the PCV. As far as sensors go the only one you really need to worry about is the IACV, pull it off and spary it out with some brake cleaner.

So here is my plan right now.

Put injector cleaner in the gas tank. Replace the PVC hose. Is there a special stiff hose I should use? And clean the IACV with brake cleaner, which I happen to have, bonus.:)

you might as well take off all the components and clean them all nicely.
replacing all the gaskets, making everything spotless.. the works.

ionno.. couldnt hurt to ask. lol
call em up.
youd probably be better off getting it from majestic honda or something.

That is good advice. Not only can RC clean the injectors they can tell you if any of them are not performing up to par.
