West West Yall
White Vs. Black

I have a decision to take my car, the 1990 Si, or my dads 1991 Si.

The 1990:
-White.
-No rust.
-Has been in an accident but still drives straight.
-Needs bodywork and paint.
-Has power steering, which I like.
-Already has Integra rear disc brakes and booster/master cylinder and porp valve.
-Has a tight shift.

The 1991:
-Black.
-Tiny bit of surface rust.
-No accidents that we know of.
-Is presentable but could use paint.
-Shifter is a bit sloppy.
-Has a slow sunroof.
-Leaks in the winter.

What do you think?

What ever car I choose will get my Mini-Me with a Si tranny and the disc brakes.

But if its just the two, I'd take the black one. The sloppy shifter is a $15 fix. I doubt you'll get such a bargain from the crashed one. Although I'd much rather white, I'd take the black just because it hasn't been wrecked. Slow sunroof is just a matter of cleaning and re-greasing the tracks. You don't need power steering in those little things.. Grow some muscle!

Get the JDM rear seats. Trade your friends in for midgets.

On the white car the whole passenger side has been changed out from another car. The fender and door were red and from the door back was from a blue car.

But you are right, everything but the body can be changed out. With all the EFs we've had we now pretty much have at least one good part for everything.

fuck that
i'd rather take rust i can see and go from there
if the quarter has been cut off then there is bare metal inside (welds) that will eventually rust to the outside

where does it leak from?
it could just be a clogged sunroof drain line
and as phyregod said, the shifter probably just needs new bushings

pics would be helpful

Winnar!

Buy the white one, spray paint it yellow, and swap them out in the middle of the night. He'll never notice!

I've taken off the interior panels before and they painted all their welds. There is no exposed metal or rust.
