Im about to put a wet-kit on my LS-VTEC, 13:1, ITB, CRX.
So i was curious about an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

What is the stock fuel pressure on a CRX? Dose it increase with rpm?

What is a rising rate fuel pressure regulator?

What pressure should I run with nitrous?

Any recommendations?

so you have a ITB LS/VTEC running 13:1 cr and you're asking about an adjustable fpr... something is not right here

itb's require a standalone to run.... how you are running this off a stock ecu, i have no idea.

fpr's are 1:1 on hondas.

you'll need larger injectors (310+) as your all motor is probably already maxing out the injectors.

get it tuned. do pulls on the dyno with the juice.

get two maps made, one for juice, one for without.

it's a total pain in the ass.

bought not built

F*CK THAT!!! I built everything on my car including the intake manifold.

Working on the NOS kit now.

Engine

Block: B18a1, JE pistons for b16(13:1), Eagle Rods.
Head: B16, fully port and polished (by me). SK2 stg3 cams, SK2 valve springs and titanium retainers.
Intake: B16 flange, aluminum tubes, port matched and polished
Injectors: DSM blue top, 450cc.
ECU: chipped P28 on chrome. (yes it has ITB software) Need to retune to get allittle more out of it.

Slowmotion Dyna-Pak dyno (gay): 187hp, 142, torque.
Engine ran great last season.. Ran 14.2 at 104mph snaking down the track. working on the wet kit now.

I just somebody on here would know something bout honda's and their fuel pressure.

Stock pressure?
Whats a recommended pressure with a wet kit? Should I just experiment until it leans ot?

pressure is not volume.

if you feed nitrous into the motor you need MORE fuel, not the same fuel at a higher pressure.

reasons like this is why i like turbos. Less money more power. But nothing beats the screaming sound of a high output N/A.

Invest in better tires and work on your launch, times will improve on the 1/4 mile. Adding nitrous will just make you spin tires at launch and shortly after launch. 14.2 just sounds slow to me for all that into it.

But definitely check the injectors peak on your fuel maps. if its getting close to the top definitely get bigger ones for the extra room to tune you will need.

hell yeah 14.2 sounds slow for a 180+ whp CRX (dynapaks have a tendency to read lower than actual.) and to answer your question, your CRX used to have a FPR that was regulated by vacuum, not engine speed. what you have on it now however, i have no idea.
