I have manual 95 bubble, stock i think not original motor for sure no factory marks, but i have a auto 94 ex civic coupe with d16.waiting for me to come up with some creative ideas to rebuild bottom to top. im looking for about 225 to 250whp. no turbo no nos.... save me .....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
 
you want that n/a then be ready dish out some cash on pistons, rods, crankshaft, cam, valves ect.......... and if you get a good tune you might reach your goals.......your best option is a light boost with a good tune you wont reach those numbers but it will be close enough so when you get money to build the motor it will be helacious
 
Ya mite get to 200HP N/A with a SOHC but I would recomend a DOHC motor for N/A just my opion tho
 
the only way your gonna get that out of a z6 is by boosting it
 
sorry for stupid ....? whats N/A...? so the boost is the only way to go ....cause im tryng to use what i got. had a b18 before, too serious for my amature level. cant afford repairs or parts... but with d series. im trying to have something i can have fun with, not break records. so the foundation of plan is for gsr brakes n suspension. d16.... this might be another dumb question but z6 is that the trany or intake manifold. dont laugh those were my best gues with out research. and last but last but not least whats the "mini me" i keep hearing about...?

NA means naturally aspirated (all motor). well if you cant afford the repairs on a b series youll never hit that kind of power all motor. your gonna have to boost it. if you just want something fun just put the z6 in and call it a day. its not anything crazy fast but a fun little motor especially in something as light as a civic. no z6 is the motor from the ex/si civic just abbreviated because there are a bunch of d16. the whole engine code would be d16z6. a mini me is just taking a sohc vtec head and putting it on a non-vtec block. i would highly suggest researching some. theres tons of good info here just look around
 
very tru.... very tru...now since boost is the way how should i prep the block cause my mech is serious when it comes to rebuilding since were pulling the d15n d16 both out with in the next two weeks.i need a shoping list like studs,cams, rockers,springs, ect. so i can get it preped for boost. my mech is gona help out with some finacial help he wants to see it on a track booging...ill boot pics up in a few days to show the now then later... thnx for evry ones help
