Here's the story.
I currently have a 1997 Integra GSR 4 Door.
I was in a wreck with it. Car's drivable but the damage was all rear end. The estimate for complete repair is about 4000+ (body, paint, new right rear wheel bearings)
I have a friend who has a 2007 Civic, was in a wreck in the front but the body was fixed.
The car has no engine.
My question to you all, what advice do you have for swapping the engine? What parts do you see needed from the Integra into the new Civic? IE wiring.

Both cars are manual.

For less than the cost of this swap, you could swap in a k20. Everything involved with the swap would be totally custom. Generally, it's not worth it to install a b series in any civic 01' and newer.

its also illegal in 45/50 states to have an older motor in a newer chassis.

i'd suggest pulling your motor, offing it, and buying a new car with the cash, and let your friend deal with his own problem :)

that or buy a shell to drop the motor in..
