Yay for DOHC VTEC ^_^
Woot!
So about two years ago, I had made a post online about having issues with my 07 Civic Si going into 3 gear. Now, when you hit VTEC and throughout gears 4-6, you hear this increasing whine like noise.

Searched online and hey, there was a TSB on model vehicle and I was never notified. Bleh.
Called the dealer and described the situation at hand; more or less went roundabout to call me a liar.
Argued a bit and go an appt tomorrow morning to take my car in and hopefully get it fixed.

I know I was boned when I first bought the car (financing + Gomez not being level headed = dumbass,) but this is crap.
It makes me wish that I would of kept my CR-X and just maxed out my credit cards to fix up the stupid issues it had. At least that way I would not be in the hole.

Today, the newer generation of Hondas lost my faith. I am looking forward to owning something in the early to mid 90s again once this thing is paid off.

There's my vent of the day.

I have a 2001, and I also feel not as impressed with it. It's a nice car no doubt but I just don't feel as bad ass driving it :D

Some dealerships are dicks, try another Honda dealership or call HoA.

03 350Zs had tranny issues, almost every single 2003 350Z has had its tranny replaced under Nissans bill, I took my car in with just under 20K miles on it and let the dealership head tech hear the grind, 1 shift is all it took before he said, I'll order you a new tranny. They gave me a free rental and had the job done in less then 24 hours.

Other people on the Z boards got dicked around, nope, not gonna cover it, sorry not our problem blah blah blah, people would go from one dealer to the next and get a totally different out come.Just like what I had.

We now have an 06 or 07 SI (already forgot) and so far it's been a wonderful car. I'd never own an older SI from 99-2004 or whenever the last SI was made. The new one on the other hand is a damn nice car.

For the record I've never felt bad ass driving any civic lol. No doubt having an open dump tube was fun, but still.. no bad ass.

I don't know man, I almost bought an 07 si over my tc(kind of wish I did) and I really really liked it. It was a solid car, and drove great.

At that, I think your issue is like jeffie said, with the dealer. Not necessarily a car one. \

i haven't liked a single car since 2000, except for the TL like jeffie has... but its too much money and not the kind of car i really want anyway. too low on mileage to be an econo daily... not sporty enough to be my toy. it's in-between.

Hey when I baby the car I can get in the 30s, for the most part light driving puts me at 28 and when Im driving like normal both city/highway I avg around 25

I do like the 2 door SI, but the 4 door IMO looks nasty, I hate the fit, and the new accord 4 door is boxy, the 2 door almost has an Audi style to it yet has too many little things I dislike about it.

New Acuras..... I hope they grow on me. My TL has been the best damn everyday car I've ever had. Only two issues with it.

Rattles (built in America...) and the fact that the rear seats do not fold down. I only have the little center piece that folds down.

As far as from the 2000s goes, I do have to say I like the S2000, I just with the car had a bit of torque. I almost bought one before buying the TL, but I couldn't bring myself to own 2, 2 seaters. I guess B doesn't like the S2000 since he can't fit in it. =)

I drove a 2007 Si 2 door and four door, before i bought my Audi, and I owned a 2005 TC and I would definately rather have the TC then the SI hands down.

How long did you have the tc? I'm not saying its a bad car. It to me has the clunky-ist(sp?) transmission I have ever used and the suspension is getting very very lame and pillowy for a stock coupe.

yeah, i don't fit in that car. lol my right leg can't clear the seat to the steering wheel. I have to lift my right leg over the wheel to get into the car.

and that was with the top down. not sure if my head would clear with the top up.

i fit the same way in 3rd gen rx7's. not happening.

Are you 6'9" or not flexible? My cousin is well over 6' and drives one daily. This sounds like an exaggeration man.....

I'm 6'1' and fit with plenty of room.

I bounce around 200 area +/- 20lbs depending on working out cycle. The 5spd kills me. It feels like driving my dad's old toyota truck.
