First, I got my car working again. Runs good. So now I'm gearing up for this summer's autox. I need to install a baffled oil pan (so I don't starve the oil pickup on hard corners).

I'm looking at a Moroso oil pan from Inline Four. $150 doesn't sound bad, eh? Moroso also offers a larger oil pickup as well. My question is, how hard would the pickup be to install without pulling the motor or disassembling any of the rotating assembly? Would it be a breeze to replace the stock pickup while I'm replacing the pan? This is for a B16 btw.

Thanks for any input!

I cant remember if the pick up is under or on top of the windage tray, but I know that the pick up is like two 10mm bolts that hold it in.

Pickup is below the tray if i remember. Its also easy to remove. 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

I haven't delved into any internals work in my learning yet. So I can't visualize how that diagram should fit together really. More input?? Thanks!

This should help. Pickup is below the tray as you can see. Drop the pan and its right there.
