I removed the pistons from the bad block I have and all the rod bearings are blue.....it has a aftermarket Eagle crank in there so maybe thats why they are all the same??

I dont have access to micromeaters so I cant measure clearences.

Should I just replace all bearings with blue bearings???

Oh also is aftermarket blue bearings and honda OEM blue bearings the same size??

Sorry for being such a N00b!:(

This is a tough question because you really don't know until you check those clearances. If I were you, I would invest in a Micrometer, some plastigauge, etc. Check the clearances, don't just guess. It'll be worth your time.

Think about it, you've already pulled this engine apart once when you didn't want to, think about next time if you spin a rod bearing, you're going to kill someone. Do it right the first time
