two quick questions: #1 Im having problems keeping my 91 crx HF started....usually it will stall as soon as i start it. sometimes i can keep it started but it runs like hell. I think the map sensor is messed up, but I have no clue where its located at on the car...anyone know?

#2 in a few months I may be getting a 2000 integra gsr b18 motor and tranny...how hard would this be to swap into my crx...i know it's got the obd1 electrical system, so what would i have to do to make this work. thanks.

for the first thing.. the MAp is probably on the firewall with a vac. hose running to the throttle body..

if that hose was broken off at the throttle body would it cause the car to run all like hell?

Dude the map sensor is not on the firewall, its on top of the throttle body, should be a clip from the wire harness connected to it. The map sensor is connected to the tb with two phillips head screws, and its black.

91 HF MAP sensor is in the black box on the passenger side on the firewall - looks like this:

hose #21 in the picture goes to the vacuum port on the throttle body closest to the front of the car (right next to the red braided cloth covered hose that goes to the charcoal cannister)

Thats right. On the EF chassis's, the MAP sensor is mounted on the firewall. In 92 they started putting the civic MAP sensor on the TB. As for the OBD1 conversion electronics, you will run the OBD1 ecu, distributor and 4 wire O2 sensor. You will also need an OBD0 to OBD1 conversion harness like this
