so, before you flame, I am not physically capable of driving a manual anymore. I still would love to have a vtec dohc hatch, even if it is auto, I'm probably getting an obd1 civic hatch (also auto) and I've heard that there were b16's made in america that came with automatics. could i get a complete usdm b16 auto tranny ecu setup to swap in? is this even possible?

You may be better off getting an automatic B18 from an LS Integra and converting that to vtec. Tranny will need a little beefing up, or a light foot if it's going to last long I would guess.

Shoot you could put a B16 head on the LS B18. Good flow and rev happy.

There are automatic B16s, but they were never released in America. You'll have to buy one from an engine importer or try to find one that's already floating around here in the States...

I doubt that would be much fun honestly. The automatic LS transmission is a complete turd...

Check my link...I don't know if you care or not but it's in Michigan so it won't need to be imported...

So, it seems its going to be tough to locate a b16 auto setup, for the right price anyway. So i was thinking maybe go with the vtec d16. My younger brother said you could still build it to be somewhat mean, and there a lot more common. I found this on my local craigslist,
1994 Honda Civic Hatchback (Super Clean!) - $1,700.00 Firm

So I would have the engine rebuilt, and depending on how expensive it would end up being, maybe with better parts. It would seem all I would need for this setup is the auto obd1 d16 vtec computer right? what would I need to check when I go look at it?

Also, I'm handicap, so I need to keep my hands on my controls at almost all times. so how hard would it be to install power windows and power mirrors? There are a lot of civics and integras in the 93-95 range up at my local junkyard and I bet I could find one with power options fairly easily.

My brother has a 92 teg and I really like his seats, and there are plenty of da's up at the junkyard. How swapable are honda interiors?

I'm not new in anyway to cars, just new to the honda swap scene. before my accident i had a lifted jeep, and an 03 v6 6speed accord (/drool). now i need something that works for me more. I know this is a long list of questions, and I appreciate all your help greatly. Thanks!

wow that b16 is rediculous manu! how hard is it to put a jdm engine into a usdm car

my full name is Manuel...lol

It's not hard..You just pull the old motor, change the mounts, change the harness(if needed), change ecu, put motor in....you'd have to look up specifics but it's not hard

I say you get this one cuz it's hella cheap
